I had the honor of being a speaker at the inaugural Pizza Prime Summit in March 2024, where I shared insights on the importance of digital transformation in today’s fast-evolving business landscape. Fast forward to 2025, and I had the privilege of leading the design and development of the landing page for the Pizza Prime Summit 2025 — a highly anticipated event that promises to inspire, educate, and connect the biggest names in the food service industry.
Project Overview:
For the second edition of the Pizza Prime Summit, the goal was clear: create a visually engaging and highly functional landing page that would captivate visitors and drive excitement about the event. The page had to reflect the innovative spirit of the summit and set the tone for an experience that blends cutting-edge technology with industry expertise.
Key Features of the Landing Page:
- Countdown Timer for Event Excitement:
To build anticipation, the landing page features a real-time countdown timer highlighting the exact time remaining until the summit begins. This interactive feature showcases the 70 days, 8 hours, 51 minutes, and 15 seconds left until the event, keeping visitors engaged and reminding them that the future is fast approaching. It’s a perfect blend of urgency and excitement, creating a sense of urgency for those who don’t want to miss out. - Inspiration & Innovation Messaging:
The page clearly communicates the theme of the event: “Inspiration and Innovation that Transforms the Market”. With bold typography and vibrant visuals, the messaging sets the tone for what attendees can expect — an action-packed day filled with insights, networking, and powerful discussions on how to leverage technology to grow businesses in the food service sector. - Responsive and User-Friendly Design:
The landing page is fully responsive, ensuring a seamless experience across all devices — from desktop to mobile. Whether users are accessing it on a tablet, phone, or laptop, they’ll experience smooth navigation, clean layouts, and easy-to-read content, all optimized for high performance. - Tech-Driven Development with React JS:
I used React JS for the front-end development to ensure a fast, interactive, and dynamic user experience. The flexibility of React allowed for smooth transitions, easy component management, and real-time updates, making the landing page feel fresh and engaging with each visit. - SCSS/SASS for Scalable Styling:
The landing page was styled using SCSS/SASS, which allowed me to keep the CSS organized, modular, and scalable. The use of variables, mixins, and nested rules enabled me to create a consistent and flexible design system, which made future updates and adjustments a breeze. - Hosting on AWS & Amplify:
To ensure the landing page was not only visually stunning but also fast and reliable, I hosted it on AWS using Amplify. This platform provided the scalability and speed needed to handle high traffic volume, ensuring that visitors would experience smooth performance no matter when they visited the page. - Clear Call to Action (CTA):
The page features prominent CTAs, guiding visitors to register for the event and stay updated with event details. Clear and strategically placed buttons allow users to engage with the page immediately, encouraging them to take action and not miss the opportunity to be part of this transformative event.
My Role:
I was responsible for end-to-end development, including UI/UX design, front-end development, and cloud hosting architecture. This project was especially meaningful as it allowed me to combine my expertise in technology, design, and digital transformation — the very themes I had the honor of speaking about at the first Pizza Prime Summit.
